About

The Lemon Tree Restaurant in Tenterden is housed in a 14th century heavily timbered former Wealden Hall House, reputedly visited by King Henry VIII.

No visit to Tenterden would be complete without a Kentish Afternoon Tea at the Lemon Tree. They bake scones fresh every day, using award winning strawberry preserve, whilst their cakes, bakes and delicious desserts are all homemade.

Afternoon Teas are served 9am until 12pm and 2:30pm until close, 7 days a week.

Gluten free options are available.

  • Selection of freshly made sandwiches
  • Two freshly baked fruit scones with clotted cream and strawberry preserve
  • Selection of four little taster cakes
  • Served with a pot of the Lemon Tree blend tea
